Summertime Pick Me Ups: Accessories To The Rescue!

There comes a time when the middle of Summer weighs on me like it will never end. That’s this week. I still can’t bear to look at fall fashions though by August the fashion magazines are so full of the new looks that you can’t ignore them but right now I need a Summer Love. Remember your Summer Love, maybe it was 8th grade, or you were a junior in high school, and you were on vacation with your best friend. There was that boy and oh, were you in LOVE! Every song on the radio made you giddy.

That’s the kind of pick-me-up I’m looking for to get me through the doldrums of mid-Summer. Here are a few items that could carry my look on through until the angle of the light starts to change, and I know we will have Autumn and crisp nights and we can wear sweaters and tall boots again.

A little ah-ha! moment… Last week I went shopping online for a client who was going to a cocktail party that we hadn’t planned for. She has started a new job and now needs dressed up cocktail and dinner outfits. I found several options that fit her style, coloring, and price range and emailed them to her. Since I didn’t have to leave the comfort of my easy chair I could charge her for just a half hour and voila, she was ready to go!     It’s always fun and informative to read and see the great pics in your posts! These hot humid AL summer days keep me mostly inside and cool, so I always enjoy your blogs.
    I hadn’t heard about the Dior balm and it sounds nice. Just ordered one in Rosewood and that was easy as you helped me with my colors several years ago when I was still in Austin.
