Safely Use Your Earring Lifters

The WardrobeJazz Earring Lifter works well with all types of Post and Stud earrings. The trick to making them work on your ears and with your earrings is adjusting them properly. The earring posts can be thin or thick or even super thick. If you plan to use them with different sized posts you will need to make sure they are adjusted to fit securely for each of your earring posts. You might want to use the different colored lifters for different pairs of earrings based on the post thickness. Treat the earring lifters with the care you show your jewelry so that they will work well for you.

If you want to use the lifters with valuable (expensive or sentimental) earrings, I advise that you wear them with the lifters around the house for a few hours to make sure they are secure. Some expensive earrings have VERY slender posts and need a very tight adjustment to hold your earring securely.

To make the adjustment you can press the lifter together. 

You can also use a pair of needle nose pliers like these 6” pliers made by NIDAYE, available on Amazon, to make the adjustment. 

If the lifter is too tight for your post, you can insert a credit card between the supports to loosen it. Use caution and only open it a little at a time until you get the fit just right. It should be a very secure fit so that the lifters don’t rotate on your ears.

NOTES:

Because the lifter is much larger than an ordinary earring back it could get caught in your hair. This could be a problem if your hair is longer. Make sure your hair does not catch in the earring lifter. It could be a source of the lifter turning sideways which would be most unattractive, or worse, pulling off the lifter when you are brushing your hair!

These heart shaped earring lifters are so pretty! Store them with your jewelry and don’t leave them where children can reach them. They could be attracted to them and might want to play with them. They could be broken or could be a choking hazard.
